So we have a winner for the final round of 2008, and yet again it's Bezmondo coming on strong with Jimmy Williams classic, All My Lovin'. Should say thanks to Nigel for being a wise adjudicator once again. Plus also for reminiscing about when these tunes were being played on the London pirates JFM and Centreforce FM back in the day.
What it all means is Bez was the convincing winner of the 2008 championship with a resounding 4 wins. In 2nd place was my good self with 2 wins. Followed by the rest with a grand total of zero between them. So big up yourself Bez, all that digging has paid off. The rest of you need to get your knees dirty and spend some time crouched over dusty record boxes.
We are taking a break from all this rivalry over xmas but the boogie off should be back in 2009. In the meantime why not take a moment to vote for your favourite winning entry to the 2008 contest. The tunes are all up in the side panel for your listening pleasure.
