I am sitting here in my cabin in the mountains, not quite believing its been 10 years since we hosted our first boat party. There have been many amazing memories along the way and far too many people to thank here. I can't wait to get back to the shores of England and the Thames and have another cracking day out amongst friends.
One of the most exciting things is our guest DJ for the after party, Mr Greg Wilson. Maybe some of you aren't aware of the debt that UK music and club culture owes to him but this man is a legend. He went into retirement for many years and came back earlier this century. The time was right for his comeback as the disco/electro/re-edit scene has gathered pace around the world. He has picked up the re-edit baton again and is releasing some wicked stuff. You can still pick up copies of the Credit to the Edit compilation he compiled for Tirk records on various websites.
For more info check out his electrofunkroots website and also more press about him here. Plus his myspace site which has some tunes to listen to. But for the best idea of what he is about then here's a few links to some of his mixes and a download of a recent re-edit of his. I believe the track was caned at Bestival last year where you might have spotted a few of the Take it 2 the Bridge crew pogoing away. Only 16 days to go, see ya'll back on the Jubilee.

i still get goose bumps when i think about Greg Wilson's set at bestival 2007.
in november we also went to brighton for my bro's birthday party in his pub, where we played 'Secret Sunday Lover' 6 or 7 times in one evening. It is definitely my tune of the year.
